Key Responsibilities
• Provide tailored support to pupils with Special Educational Needs, both individually and in small groups.
• Assist teachers in creating an inclusive and stimulating learning environment for all students.
• Implement individual education plans (IEPs) and contribute to their ongoing assessment and review.
• Foster positive behaviour and promote social-emotional development among pupils.
• Collaborate effectively with teaching staff, parents, and external professionals to support pupil progress.
• Prepare and adapt learning materials to meet the specific needs of children, enhancing engagement and accessibility.
About You
• Possess a genuine passion for supporting children with Special Educational Needs and a commitment to their development.
• Demonstrate prior experience working with primary-aged children, ideally within an SEN context.
• Hold relevant qualifications or training in supporting pupils with SEN is highly desirable.
• Exhibit excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of building strong rapport with students and colleagues.
• Be proactive, patient, adaptable, and able to work effectively as part of a dedicated team.
• Have a strong understanding of safeguarding principles and a commitment to promoting pupil welfare.
