Key Responsibilities
* Deliver engaging and adapted lessons across various curriculum areas to pupils with diverse Special Educational Needs.
* Effectively manage classroom behaviour, fostering a positive and inclusive learning atmosphere.
* Provide tailored support and guidance to pupils, addressing individual learning styles and challenges.
* Collaborate professionally with support staff and colleagues to ensure a cohesive educational experience.
* Implement school policies and procedures, maintaining high standards of safeguarding and pupil welfare.
* Adapt quickly to different classroom environments and pupil needs within a specialist setting.
About You
* Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and possess a strong understanding of the UK curriculum.
* Possess recent experience teaching within secondary Special Educational Needs environments.
* Demonstrate excellent classroom management skills and a patient, empathetic approach to teaching.
* Exhibit flexibility and adaptability, thriving in varied classroom settings and working with diverse needs.
* Possess strong communication and interpersonal skills, building positive relationships with pupils and staff.
