About the Role
A dynamic school is seeking a dedicated SEMH Teaching Assistant to join their specialist provision. This challenging and rewarding role involves supporting secondary pupils with Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs, fostering a positive learning environment. You will play a crucial part in assisting with emotional regulation, providing effective behaviour support, and facilitating successful reintegration into learning. We are open to discussing various contract types, including long-term, daily supply, short-term, or permanent positions, with a competitive daily rate ranging from £95 to £120, commencing as soon as possible.

Key Responsibilities
* Implement tailored strategies to support pupils' emotional regulation and positive behaviour.
* Provide consistent one-to-one and small group support within a specialist secondary setting.
* Assist in the delivery of engaging and accessible learning activities across various subjects.
* Collaborate closely with teaching staff and SENCOs to track pupil progress and adapt interventions.
* Foster a safe, inclusive, and nurturing environment that promotes pupils' well-being and academic growth.
* Support pupils in developing independent learning skills and achieving their personal targets.

About You
* Possess proven experience working with secondary-aged pupils with Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs.
* Demonstrate exceptional patience, resilience, and a deeply empathetic approach to pupil support.
* Exhibit strong behaviour management techniques and a proactive attitude towards de-escalation.
* Hold a genuine passion for supporting vulnerable young people and fostering their development.
* Be a collaborative team player with excellent communication skills, keen to contribute positively to a supportive staff community.
* Show a commitment to continuous professional development and adapting to diverse pupil requirements.
