Key Responsibilities

* Cultivate a stimulating and inclusive classroom atmosphere where every pupil feels empowered to explore their potential in English.
* Collaborate effectively with departmental colleagues to share best practices and contribute to curriculum enrichment.
* Engage in continuous professional development, staying abreast of educational innovations and pedagogical approaches.

About You
* You possess Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and hold a relevant degree in English or a related discipline.
* You are an Early Career Teacher (ECT), an experienced Main Pay Scale (MPS) teacher, or an Upper Pay Scale (UPS) teacher, eager for your next challenge.
* You demonstrate a genuine passion for English, capable of inspiring a love for reading, writing, and critical thinking in young people.
* You exhibit excellent classroom management skills, fostering an environment conducive to effective learning and positive behaviour.
* You are a reflective practitioner, committed to your ongoing professional development and open to new teaching strategies.
* You possess strong communication and interpersonal skills, building positive relationships with pupils, parents, and colleagues alike.
