Key Responsibilities
* Deliver consistently high-quality, engaging Biology lessons to secondary students.
* Plan and prepare innovative schemes of work that meet curriculum requirements.
* Assess, record, and report on the development, progress, and attainment of pupils.
* Implement effective classroom management strategies to foster a positive learning environment.
* Contribute to the development and enhancement of the wider Science department.
* Participate in extracurricular activities, enriching the student experience where appropriate.
About You
* Possess Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a degree in Biology or a related scientific field.
* Demonstrate a genuine passion for Biology and a commitment to student success.
* Be adept at tailoring teaching methods to suit diverse learning needs and abilities.
* Exhibit excellent communication and interpersonal skills, building strong rapport with pupils and colleagues.
* Have a clear understanding of the secondary national curriculum for Science, particularly Biology.
* Be proactive, organised, and ready to contribute positively to a collaborative team.
