About the Role
A well-established school is seeking an inspirational Chemistry Teacher to join their thriving Science department on a permanent contract, commencing September 2026. This long-term opportunity involves delivering engaging Chemistry lessons across the secondary phase, igniting a passion for scientific discovery in all pupils. You will play a crucial role in shaping young minds, contributing to a supportive educational environment focused on academic excellence and personal growth.

Key Responsibilities
* Plan and deliver high-quality, engaging Chemistry lessons to pupils across Key Stage 3, GCSE, and A-Level.
* Develop innovative schemes of work and lesson materials that cater to diverse learning needs.
* Rigorously assess pupil progress, providing timely and constructive feedback to support their development.
* Foster a positive, inclusive, and challenging learning atmosphere within the classroom.
* Actively participate in departmental meetings, contributing to curriculum development and extracurricular activities.
* Maintain excellent standards of behaviour management, ensuring a productive and safe learning environment for everyone.

About You
* Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the United Kingdom.
* Possess a strong academic background in Chemistry or a closely related Science subject.
* Demonstrate proven experience teaching Chemistry effectively at secondary school level (ECTs are welcome to apply).
* Exhibit enthusiasm for your subject, inspiring pupils to achieve their very best.
* Show excellent communication skills and a collaborative approach to teamwork.
* Be committed to continuous professional development and reflective practice in teaching.
