Key Responsibilities
• Provide targeted 1:1 and small group support to primary pupils with diverse SEN.
• Assist in the implementation of Individual Education Plans and Education, Health and Care Plans.
• Employ positive behaviour management strategies to promote a calm and inclusive learning environment.
• Collaborate effectively with class teachers, SENCOs, and external professionals.
• Adapt and prepare learning resources to meet varying student needs and abilities.
• Monitor and record pupil progress, contributing to assessment and review processes.
About You
• Proven experience supporting children with special educational needs in a primary setting.
• A genuine passion for making a positive impact on young learners' development.
• Excellent communication skills, capable of building strong rapport with pupils, staff, and parents.
• Demonstrates resilience, patience, and a proactive approach to challenges.
• Possesses a strong understanding of various SEN conditions and effective support strategies.
• Holds relevant qualifications or training in supporting pupils with special educational needs.
