A dynamic school is seeking a dedicated 1:1 SEN Support Assistant to provide crucial, personalised assistance to a secondary pupil facing complex needs. This challenging yet highly rewarding role involves meticulously following Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP) targets, ensuring the pupil can effectively access the curriculum and actively promoting their independence and vital life skills. We are looking for someone available for an immediate start, with opportunities for long-term, daily supply, or permanent contracts, offering a competitive daily rate of £85 - £110.
Key Responsibilities
* Deliver tailored 1:1 support to a secondary pupil with complex special educational needs.
* Implement specific strategies and targets outlined within the pupil's EHCP.
* Facilitate access to all aspects of the curriculum, adapting resources as required.
* Proactively encourage the development of the pupil's independence across school activities.
