Key Responsibilities
• Deliver inspiring and well-differentiated lessons to pupils from EYFS through to KS2.
• Skillfully adapt teaching strategies to meet the varying needs and abilities of different age groups.
• Provide consistent and effective PPA cover for class teachers, maintaining curriculum continuity.
• Collaborate positively with colleagues to support a cohesive and nurturing educational atmosphere.
• Assess pupil progress informally, ensuring learning objectives are being met and adapted as necessary.
• Maintain a stimulating and well-organised classroom environment during cover periods.
About You
• Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and demonstrate a strong understanding of the primary curriculum.
• Possess recent and successful teaching experience across EYFS, Key Stage 1, and Key Stage 2.
• Exhibit outstanding classroom management skills, fostering a positive and productive learning space.
• Are highly adaptable and resilient, capable of transitioning smoothly between different year groups and subjects.
• Show genuine enthusiasm for nurturing young minds and inspiring a love of learning in all pupils.
• Committed to ongoing professional development and actively contributing to whole-school life.
