Key Responsibilities
• Provide effective classroom support to primary-aged pupils, both individually and in small groups.
• Assist with the preparation and organisation of engaging learning resources and activities.
• Support the academic, social, and emotional development of pupils, including those with additional learning needs.
• Collaborate closely with class teachers to implement lesson plans and monitor pupil progress.
• Encourage positive behaviour and active engagement, contributing to a calm and productive learning atmosphere.
• Maintain open communication with staff regarding pupil achievements and any emerging challenges.
About You
• Possess a Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant qualification, or demonstrate equivalent relevant experience.
• Exhibit a genuine passion for supporting primary school children's learning and overall development.
• Demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills, fostering positive relationships with all stakeholders.
• Show a proactive and adaptable approach, thriving within a dynamic educational setting.
• Have an understanding of various learning styles and strategies to support diverse pupil needs.
• Be deeply committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of all children.
