About the Role

We are seeking a passionate and inspiring Physics Teacher to contribute to our thriving Science department on a long-term, permanent basis. Key Responsibilities
• Plan and deliver engaging and challenging Physics lessons across the secondary age range.
• Foster a stimulating learning environment that encourages scientific inquiry and critical thinking.
• Assess student progress regularly, providing constructive feedback to support their development.
• Contribute to the ongoing development of the Science curriculum, especially within Physics and Chemistry.
• Participate in departmental meetings and wider school initiatives, collaborating with colleagues.
• Support students through pastoral care and guide them towards achieving their full potential.

About You
• Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK.
• Possess a strong degree in Physics, or a related scientific discipline, with a Chemistry specialism.
• Demonstrate a proven ability to teach Physics effectively at secondary level (ECT, MPS, or UPS).
• Exhibit a genuine passion for your subject and a commitment to inspiring young learners.
• Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, fostering positive relationships.
• Be dedicated to continuous professional development and contributing to a collaborative team.
