About the Role
Join an innovative school dedicated to exceptional SEN provision as a 1:1 SEN Support Assistant, offering crucial support to a secondary pupil with complex needs. This rewarding role involves implementing EHCP targets, facilitating curriculum access, and empowering a young person to develop vital independence and life skills. We are seeking committed individuals for long-term, daily supply, or permanent opportunities, with a competitive daily rate ranging from £85 to £110. Your immediate start will make a significant impact on a student's educational journey within our specialist secondary setting.

Key Responsibilities
* Provide dedicated, personalised 1:1 support to a secondary pupil with complex Special Educational Needs.
* Collaborate closely with teaching staff to ensure full access to the secondary curriculum.
* Implement specific targets outlined within the student's Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP).
* Actively promote and foster the development of crucial independence and essential life skills.
* Monitor and accurately record the pupil's progress, adapting support strategies as required.
* Contribute to a nurturing and inclusive learning environment where every student thrives.

About You
* You possess proven experience supporting young people with complex SEN, ideally in a secondary setting.
* You demonstrate exceptional patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for making a difference.
* You are adept at understanding and implementing individualised support plans effectively.
* You exhibit strong communication skills, engaging positively with students, staff, and parents.
* You are proactive, resilient, and dedicated to promoting student well-being and achievement.
