Key Responsibilities
* Provide tailored one-to-one and small group support to primary pupils with ASD.
* Implement and maintain structured routines to promote predictability and reduce anxiety.
* Deploy effective sensory strategies to support pupil engagement and regulation.
* Facilitate and enhance communication using various appropriate methods.
* Collaborate closely with teachers and therapists to adapt learning materials.
* Contribute positively to a supportive and inclusive classroom atmosphere.
About You
* Possess prior experience supporting primary-aged pupils with Autism Spectrum Disorder.
* Demonstrate a clear understanding of effective strategies for pupils with ASD, including communication and sensory approaches.
* Exhibit a genuine passion for fostering the development and well-being of every child.
* Show excellent communication and interpersonal skills, building rapport with pupils and staff.
* Be adaptable and proactive, thriving in a dynamic and supportive educational setting.
* Hold relevant qualifications or professional development in SEN support is highly desirable.
