A dynamic school in the Bedfordshire area is seeking dedicated Secondary Supply Teachers and Cover Supervisors to join their team, starting as soon as possible. This role offers incredible flexibility with opportunities for daily supply, short-term assignments, long-term contracts, and even potential permanent placements. You will play a crucial part in maintaining continuity of learning, providing engaging cover across a range of secondary subjects. Successful candidates will receive a competitive daily rate of £145 - £160, reflecting their commitment to high-quality education.
Key Responsibilities
* Deliver pre-planned lessons effectively across various secondary subjects.
* Manage classroom behaviour to ensure a productive learning environment.
* Provide clear instructions and support to pupils, aiding their understanding.
* Adhere to school policies and procedures during all assignments.
* Foster a positive and inclusive atmosphere for all learners.
* Complete basic administrative tasks such as taking registers.
About You
* Possess Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or Qualified Teacher Learning and Skills (QTLS), or have significant experience as a Cover Supervisor.
* Demonstrate excellent classroom management and behaviour strategies.
* Be adaptable and resilient, thriving in diverse school settings.
* Show a genuine passion for supporting student development and progress.
* Hold an enhanced DBS check or be willing to apply for one.
* Have the ability to build positive rapport quickly with pupils and staff.
