About the Role
A dedicated school is seeking an enthusiastic and skilled Physics Teacher to join its vibrant Science department. This is a fantastic opportunity for a permanent, long-term position, commencing in September or potentially sooner, where you will inspire secondary students with a passion for scientific discovery. The role involves delivering engaging lessons across the Physics curriculum, with the potential to also teach Chemistry, fostering a supportive and challenging learning environment for all.

Key Responsibilities
* Plan and deliver dynamic Physics lessons across Key Stages 3, 4, and 5, adapting to diverse learning needs.
* Assess student progress regularly, providing constructive feedback to support their academic growth.
* Contribute to the ongoing development of the Science curriculum, ensuring it remains engaging and relevant.
* Foster a positive and inclusive classroom atmosphere where all students feel confident to explore complex scientific concepts.
* Participate actively in departmental meetings and wider school initiatives, supporting a collaborative educational community.
* Uphold the school's commitment to student wellbeing and academic excellence in all aspects of teaching practice.

About You
* Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK, or be an Early Career Teacher (ECT) eager to begin your journey.
* Possess a strong academic background in Physics, ideally with a specialism or ability to teach Chemistry at secondary level.
* Demonstrate a genuine passion for inspiring young minds in the field of science.
* Exhibit excellent classroom management skills and the ability to create an engaging learning environment.
* Be a collaborative team player, keen to contribute positively to a supportive departmental culture.
* Committed to continuous professional development and contributing to a thriving school community.
