A highly regarded school specialising in Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) support for primary-aged pupils is seeking a dedicated SEMH Teacher. This vital role involves creating a nurturing yet challenging learning environment, fostering therapeutic relationships, and expertly managing complex behaviours to ensure every child thrives. We are seeking professionals available for long-term, daily supply, or permanent contracts, with an immediate start preferred.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop and deliver a stimulating primary curriculum tailored to meet the diverse needs of pupils with SEMH.
* Implement effective behaviour management strategies, fostering a positive and structured classroom atmosphere.
* Cultivate strong, therapeutic relationships with pupils, supporting their social and emotional development.
* Collaborate closely with support staff and external professionals to ensure holistic pupil care.
* Monitor and assess pupil progress rigorously, adapting teaching methods to maximise individual potential.
* Contribute to a supportive and proactive school community, championing an inclusive ethos.
About You
* You possess Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and demonstrable experience
