Key Responsibilities
* Provide bespoke 1:1 support for a specific secondary pupil.
* Implement and adapt strategies guided by the pupil's Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP).
* Facilitate meaningful access to the curriculum, adapting materials as necessary.
* Actively promote the pupil's independence and self-advocacy skills throughout the school day.
* Support the development of essential life skills, both in and out of the classroom.
* Collaborate closely with class teachers and specialist staff to ensure holistic pupil progress.
About You
* Possess demonstrable experience supporting young people with complex special educational needs.
* Hold a strong understanding of EHCPs and their practical application in a school environment.
* Exhibit exceptional patience, empathy, and resilience when working with pupils.
* Committed to fostering positive relationships and promoting pupil well-being.
* Possess excellent communication skills, enabling effective liaison with pupils, staff, and parents.
