About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join a exceptional school in the Chelmsford area, Essex, starting as soon as possible. This rewarding role involves providing crucial support to secondary-aged pupils within a specialist SEN provision, assisting them with an adapted curriculum and fostering their independence. We offer flexible contract options, including long-term, daily supply, short-term, or permanent positions, to suit your professional journey and availability.

Key Responsibilities
* Provide tailored one-to-one and small group support to secondary-aged pupils with complex special educational needs.
* Assist in the delivery of a differentiated and adapted curriculum, ensuring accessibility for all learners.
* Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment where every pupil feels valued and can thrive.
* Encourage and promote the development of independence and essential life skills among pupils.
* Collaborate effectively with class teachers, therapists, and other support staff to meet individual pupil needs.
* Contribute to the assessment and monitoring of pupil progress, adapting support strategies as required.

About You
* Possess previous experience supporting secondary-aged pupils with a range of complex special educational needs.
* Demonstrate a patient, empathetic, and resilient approach to supporting diverse learning styles.
* Hold strong communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective collaboration with pupils, staff, and families.
* Are passionate about making a tangible difference to the educational journey and personal growth of young people.
* Exhibit a proactive and adaptable mindset, keen to embrace new challenges and learning opportunities.
* Possess a commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of all pupils.
