This pivotal role involves providing essential general PPA cover across all primary year groups, from Early Years Foundation Stage through to Key Stage 2, ensuring continuity of learning and a consistent educational experience for all pupils. You will play a crucial part in supporting the excellent work of class teachers, allowing them dedicated time for planning and professional development within a mainstream setting.
Key Responsibilities
• Deliver engaging and well-differentiated lessons across EYFS, KS1, and KS2.
• Effectively manage classroom behaviour to foster a positive learning environment.
• Collaborate with class teachers to ensure seamless curriculum delivery.
• Assess pupil progress informally and provide feedback where appropriate.
• Adapt teaching styles and resources to meet diverse learning needs.
• Contribute positively to the wider school community.
About You
• Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK.
• Possess demonstrable experience teaching across various primary year groups.
• Show a genuine passion for inspiring young learners.
• Exhibit excellent classroom management and organisational skills.
• Be adaptable and flexible to meet the varying demands of a PPA role.
• Demonstrate a commitment to continuous professional development.
