About the Role
This is an exceptional opportunity to join a well-established school located in Hertfordshire, focusing on supporting secondary-aged pupils with complex needs within a specialist SEN provision. You will play a crucial role in assisting with the delivery of an adapted curriculum and fostering the development of independence among students. We are seeking dedicated individuals for various contract types, including long-term, daily supply, short-term, and permanent positions, offering a competitive daily rate of £90 - £115. Immediate starts are available for the right candidates.

Key Responsibilities
* Provide tailored support to secondary-aged pupils facing complex learning challenges.
* Assist class teachers in delivering engaging and adapted curriculum activities.
* Actively encourage students to develop essential life skills and greater independence.
* Contribute to a positive and inclusive learning environment within the specialist provision.
* Facilitate effective communication and understanding for pupils with diverse needs.
* Collaborate closely with teachers and therapists to implement individual education plans.

* You possess demonstrable experience supporting young people with special educational needs, particularly complex needs.
* A genuine passion for making a significant difference in the lives of secondary-aged pupils is essential.
* You are an empathetic and patient individual, able to build strong rapport with students.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills allow you to collaborate effectively with colleagues and pupils.
* You are adaptable and proactive, capable of responding to varying student needs and classroom dynamics.
