About the Role
A progressive school is seeking a dedicated and inspiring Physics Teacher to join its dynamic science department, with the ability to teach Chemistry also being highly valued. Key Responsibilities
• Plan and deliver engaging Physics lessons across the secondary curriculum, catering to diverse learning needs.
• Foster a stimulating and supportive learning environment that encourages curiosity and academic excellence.
• Assess, monitor, and report on student progress, providing constructive feedback to aid development.
• Contribute actively to the development of exciting science resources and departmental initiatives.
• Maintain high standards of classroom management and student behaviour, ensuring a productive atmosphere.
• Teach Chemistry lessons to various year groups, showcasing a broader science specialism where appropriate.

About You
• Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK, with a specialism in Physics.
• Possess a strong academic background in Physics and demonstrably capable of teaching Chemistry effectively.
• Demonstrate a genuine passion for science education and inspiring young learners in the classroom.
• Be an excellent communicator, able to build strong rapport with students, parents, and colleagues.
• Committed to continuous professional development and contributing positively to a collaborative team.
• Have a proven track record of effective classroom practice or be an enthusiastic Early Career Teacher (ECT) ready to thrive.
