Key Responsibilities
* Design and implement engaging lessons that cater to diverse learning styles within an SEMH framework.
* Effectively manage challenging behaviours, fostering a positive and structured learning environment.
* Adapt and deliver a modified curriculum to meet the specific academic and developmental needs of pupils.
* Develop and maintain strong, professional relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.
* Monitor student progress rigorously, providing constructive feedback and adapting teaching strategies accordingly.
* Contribute to the broader life of the school, supporting its ethos and values.
About You
* Possess Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and relevant experience in an SEMH or SEN setting.
* Demonstrate exceptional behaviour management skills and a calm, consistent approach.
* Exhibit a deep understanding of the challenges faced by learners with SEMH needs.
* Be a highly adaptable educator, capable of personalising learning experiences.
* Show a genuine passion for making a difference in the lives of vulnerable young people.
* Possess excellent communication and interpersonal abilities to build rapport effectively.
