We are seeking a dedicated and flexible SEN Supply Teacher to provide vital support within a supportive school environment in South West London. This dynamic role involves delivering engaging lessons and offering continuity for primary-aged pupils with a range of special educational needs. You will have the opportunity to work across various specialist provisions, adapting your skills to different learning environments on a day-to-day and short-term basis. This position offers an immediate start and remuneration paid to scale, recognising your invaluable contribution.
Key Responsibilities
* Deliver expertly planned and differentiated lessons that cater to individual pupil learning styles and needs.
* Implement creative and effective teaching strategies designed to support pupils with diverse special educational needs.
* Foster a nurturing and inclusive classroom atmosphere where every child feels valued and encouraged to thrive.
* Collaborate closely with teaching assistants and other professionals to provide holistic support for pupils.
* Monitor and assess pupil progress informally, offering timely and constructive feedback.
* Maintain rigorous adherence to all school policies, especially those pertaining to safeguarding and pupil welfare.
About You
* Possess Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and demonstrate a strong pedagogical foundation.
* Bring substantial experience of teaching primary-aged pupils within a Special Educational Needs setting.
* Showcase exceptional adaptability and resilience, thriving in varied and evolving educational environments.
* Exhibit outstanding communication skills, building positive relationships with pupils, staff, and parents.
* Hold a genuine commitment to the academic and personal development of pupils with SEN.
* Currently hold an Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or be prepared to apply for one swiftly.
