About the Role
Join a flourishing school in South London that is seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant to provide vital support within its specialist provision. This rewarding role involves working closely with secondary pupils who have Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs, fostering a positive learning environment. You will play a crucial part in supporting pupils with behaviour management, developing emotional regulation strategies, and facilitating their successful reintegration into learning. This long-term opportunity is available for an immediate start, offering a chance to make a significant impact on young lives.

Key Responsibilities
* Provide tailored support to secondary pupils with SEMH needs, both individually and in small group settings.
* Implement effective strategies for behaviour management and de-escalation, promoting a calm and productive atmosphere.
* Assist pupils in developing robust emotional regulation techniques and resilience skills.
* Support the academic engagement of pupils across various subjects, adapting resources as needed.
* Collaborate closely with teachers and other professionals to monitor pupil progress and welfare.
* Contribute to the creation and maintenance of a safe, inclusive, and nurturing learning
