About the Role
A forward-thinking school in the Huntingdon area is actively seeking a dedicated SEMH Teaching Assistant to join their specialist provision without delay. This vital role involves providing tailored support to secondary pupils with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health needs, fostering an inclusive and effective learning environment for every young person. We are offering flexible contract options, including long-term, daily supply, short-term, or permanent positions, with a competitive daily rate ranging from £95 to £120, commencing as soon as possible.

Key Responsibilities
* Provide direct behavioural support, promoting positive choices and self-regulation among secondary pupils.
* Guide pupils in developing effective emotional regulation strategies within the specialist provision.
* Facilitate the successful reintegration of pupils into their learning journeys and academic activities.
* Implement individualised support plans for pupils facing complex SEMH challenges.
* Collaborate closely with teaching staff to create a nurturing and structured educational atmosphere.
* Contribute to a safe and supportive environment where every pupil feels valued and can thrive.

* You possess demonstrable experience supporting young people with SEMH needs, ideally within a secondary phase setting.
* Your commitment to fostering positive pupil outcomes and well-being is unwavering.
