Key Responsibilities
• Provide tailored one-to-one and small group support for pupils with diverse Special Educational Needs.
• Assist in the planning and delivery of engaging learning activities adapted to individual pupil requirements.
• Foster a positive and inclusive classroom atmosphere, promoting pupil independence and self-esteem.
• Collaborate effectively with teachers, parents, and external professionals to ensure holistic pupil development.
• Monitor and report on pupil progress, contributing to assessment and review processes.
• Implement strategies to support pupils' emotional regulation and social skills development.
About You
• You possess a genuine passion for supporting children with Special Educational Needs.
• You bring previous experience working in a primary education setting, ideally within a SEN support role.
• You demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills, building strong rapport with pupils and staff.
• You are patient, adaptable, and resilient, capable of responding effectively to varying pupil needs.
• You hold relevant qualifications or training in Special Educational Needs support (desirable but not essential).
• You are committed to fostering an inclusive and supportive learning environment for all pupils.
