About the Role
Join a forward-thinking school in West London seeking a dedicated and compassionate ASD Support Assistant to empower secondary students on the autism spectrum. This vital role offers an immediate start with flexible contract options including long-term, short-term, daily supply, or permanent placements, paying between £90 and £115 per day, providing essential support in a specialist SEN setting.

Key Responsibilities
* Provide tailored support to secondary students with autism spectrum conditions.
* Facilitate effective social communication development amongst pupils.
* Implement strategies to manage sensory needs within the learning environment.
* Support students in accessing the curriculum and achieving their academic potential.
* Collaborate closely with class teachers and SENCOs to develop individualised support plans.
* Foster a nurturing and inclusive atmosphere where every student feels valued.

About You
* Possess a genuine passion for supporting young people with Special Educational Needs.
* Demonstrate previous experience working with individuals on the autism spectrum, ideally within a secondary setting.
* Exhibit excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with students and staff.
* Display a patient, empathetic, and resilient approach to daily challenges.
* Be proactive in identifying and implementing effective support strategies.
* Hold a strong understanding of safeguarding principles and practices.
