We are offering flexible contract options, including long-term, daily supply, short-term, or permanent positions, all starting as soon as possible, with a competitive daily rate ranging from £95 to £120.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide tailored support to primary pupils identified with SEMH needs.
* Implement effective de-escalation strategies to manage challenging behaviours calmly.
* Mentor pupils to develop positive coping mechanisms and strong social skills.
* Foster strong, trusting relationships with children, promoting their emotional well-being.
* Collaborate closely with class teachers and SENCOs to create inclusive learning experiences.
* Support pupils in accessing the curriculum and achieving their personal best.
About You
* You possess a genuine passion for supporting children with SEMH challenges.
* You demonstrate exceptional patience, resilience, and a calm demeanour in demanding situations.
* You are adept at building rapport quickly with young people, earning their trust.
* You have a strong understanding of effective de-escalation techniques and behaviour management.
* Previous experience in an SEN or primary school setting, particularly with SEMH, is highly advantageous.
* You are a proactive team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
