About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated PMLD Support Assistant to join a exceptional school community. This rewarding long-term, permanent role involves providing specialist support to primary-aged pupils with profound and multiple learning difficulties within a tailored provision. You will play a crucial part in creating an inclusive and nurturing environment where every child can thrive and achieve their personal best.

Key Responsibilities
* Provide tailored, compassionate support to primary-aged pupils with profound and multiple learning difficulties.
* Assist with personal care routines, ensuring dignity and comfort for all pupils.
* Facilitate engaging sensory stimulation activities to enhance learning and development.
* Collaborate effectively with class teachers and therapists to implement individualised therapy programmes.
* Foster a safe, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment conducive to learning.
* Monitor and record pupil progress, contributing to assessment and planning.

About You
* Possess demonstrable experience supporting children with profound and multiple learning difficulties.
* Show genuine empathy, patience, and a nurturing approach towards pupils.
* Hold excellent communication skills, enabling effective liaison with staff, pupils, and families.
* Be proactive and resourceful, adapting swiftly to diverse pupil needs.
* Demonstrate a strong commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
* Be a collaborative team player, eager to contribute positively to a supportive school community.
