About the Role
We are seeking a versatile and dynamic Secondary Supply Teacher to join a supportive school environment. This rewarding opportunity offers the chance to provide essential cover across a range of subjects within mainstream secondary schools in the local area. Candidates will enjoy considerable flexibility, with options for daily supply, short-term assignments, long-term placements, and even permanent roles. The successful applicant will play a crucial part in maintaining continuity of learning for pupils. This role offers an excellent daily rate of £145 - £160, commencing as soon as possible.

Key Responsibilities
* Deliver pre-prepared lessons across a broad secondary curriculum.
* Effectively manage classroom behaviour, fostering a positive and productive learning atmosphere.
* Provide comprehensive cover for absent teachers, ensuring continuity in pupil education.
* Adhere to the safeguarding policies and procedures of each school.
* Foster a respectful and inclusive environment for all pupils.
* Communicate effectively with departmental colleagues and senior leadership where appropriate.

About You
* Possess Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or hold relevant experience as a Cover Supervisor within secondary education.
* Demonstrate excellent classroom management strategies and pupil engagement skills.
* Be highly adaptable and resilient, thriving in varied school settings and subjects.
* Show a genuine passion for supporting pupil progress and academic development.
* Exhibit exceptional organisational skills and a proactive approach to daily tasks.
* Hold an Enhanced DBS check, or be willing to apply for one.
