About the Role
We are seeking an inspiring and dedicated Science Teacher to join a flourishing school in the South East, specifically within Essex. This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate educator to secure a long-term, permanent contract starting in September 2026. You will be instrumental in delivering engaging science lessons across the secondary curriculum, fostering a love for scientific discovery among pupils.

Key Responsibilities
* Plan and deliver high-quality, differentiated science lessons that cater to diverse learning needs.
* Assess pupil progress regularly, providing constructive feedback to support their academic development.
* Maintain a stimulating and well-organised classroom environment conducive to effective learning.
* Contribute to the development and refinement of the science curriculum, embracing innovative teaching methodologies.
* Collaborate effectively with colleagues within the science department to share best practices and resources.
* Participate in extracurricular activities and school events, enriching the broader school community.

About You
* Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK and possess a relevant science degree.
* Demonstrate a profound passion for science education and a commitment to pupil achievement.
* Possess excellent classroom management skills and the ability to inspire young learners.
* Be adaptable and enthusiastic, ready to contribute positively to a vibrant school culture.
* Exhibit strong communication and interpersonal skills, fostering positive relationships with pupils, parents, and staff.
* Applications are warmly welcomed from Early Career Teachers (ECTs) as well as experienced educators (MPS/UPS).
