Key Responsibilities
* Provide dedicated, bespoke 1:1 support to a specific primary pupil with complex special educational needs.
* Implement individualised learning strategies and interventions outlined in the pupil's EHCP.
* Foster a safe, nurturing, and inclusive environment that promotes the pupil's emotional well-being and development.
* Collaborate closely with external therapists and specialists to integrate therapeutic approaches into daily routines.
* Monitor and record pupil progress, contributing to regular assessments and reviews.
* Adapt learning materials and classroom activities to ensure full accessibility and engagement for the pupil.
About You
* Possess demonstrable experience supporting children with special educational needs, particularly those with complex needs such as ASD, PMLD, or sensory impairments.
* Exhibit exceptional patience, empathy, and resilience in challenging situations.
* Have a strong understanding of EHCPs and the ability to contribute to their successful implementation.
* Demonstrate excellent communication skills, capable of building positive relationships with pupils, staff, and external professionals.
* Be proactive, adaptable, and committed to continuous professional development.
* Hold relevant qualifications or professional training in supporting pupils with SEN.
