You will be instrumental in facilitating social communication, effectively managing sensory needs, and ensuring students can access the curriculum. This position offers flexible contract options, including long-term, daily supply, short-term, or permanent arrangements, with a competitive daily rate of £90 - £115, starting as soon as possible.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide tailored support to secondary students on the autism spectrum.
* Facilitate effective social communication skills among pupils.
* Implement strategies for managing sensory needs within the classroom and school environment.
* Assist students in accessing and engaging with the secondary curriculum across various subjects.
* Collaborate closely with class teachers and SENCO to deliver comprehensive support plans.

* You possess proven experience supporting young people with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), ideally within a secondary school setting.
* A strong understanding of diverse learning needs associated with autism is essential.
