Key Responsibilities
* Provide tailored support to secondary-aged pupils with a range of complex special educational needs.
* Assist teaching staff in planning and delivering an adapted curriculum, ensuring accessibility for all learners.
* Encourage and champion pupils' independence, helping them develop essential life and learning skills.
* Foster a positive, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment where every student feels valued.
* Collaborate effectively with teachers, therapists, and parents to support holistic student development.
* Implement individualised education plans (IEPs) and behavioural strategies as directed by the class teacher.
About You
* Possess demonstrable experience supporting secondary-aged pupils with complex special educational needs.
* Hold a genuine passion for inclusive education and a commitment to making a tangible difference in young lives.
* Exhibit excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of building strong rapport with pupils and colleagues.
* Demonstrate patience, empathy, and resilience when facing diverse and sometimes challenging situations.
* Be proactive, adaptable, and able to work effectively as an integral part of a dedicated team.
* Ideally hold relevant qualifications or training in SEN support, or possess a strong willingness to undertake further professional development.
