As an SEMH Teacher, you will play a pivotal role in fostering a positive learning environment, building strong therapeutic relationships, and delivering dynamic, engaging lessons tailored to individual pupil requirements. We are seeking passionate educators available for long-term, daily supply, or permanent contracts, offering a competitive daily rate of £150 - £250.
Key Responsibilities
* Cultivate strong, therapeutic relationships with pupils to support their emotional and social development.
* Implement effective strategies for managing challenging behaviour in a constructive and supportive manner.
* Design and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons across the primary curriculum.
* Assess pupil progress continually, adapting teaching methods to meet diverse learning styles.
* Contribute to a nurturing and inclusive classroom atmosphere where every pupil feels valued.
* Collaborate effectively with support staff and external agencies to ensure holistic pupil care.
About You
* Possess Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or be an Early Career Teacher (ECT) seeking a supportive environment.
* Demonstrate a genuine passion for working with primary-aged pupils with SEMH needs or challenging behaviours.
* Exhibit excellent classroom management skills and a therapeutic approach to pupil interactions.
* Show adaptability and resilience in responding to varied and complex pupil requirements.
* Communicate effectively with pupils, colleagues, and parents, fostering positive partnerships.
* Hold a commitment to continuous professional development and best practice in SEN education.
