We are seeking an exceptional Reception Class Teacher to join an ambitious school in Northampton. This pivotal role involves inspiring our youngest learners within the Early Years Foundation Stage, fostering a love for learning and providing a strong foundation for their educational journey. We are open to discussing various contract types, including long-term, short-term, daily supply, or a permanent position, starting as soon as possible.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop and deliver a stimulating EYFS curriculum that meets the needs of all pupils.
* Create a vibrant and inclusive classroom environment that promotes curiosity and exploration.
* Accurately assess and record children's development, identifying next steps for learning.
* Uphold the highest standards of safeguarding and ensure the welfare of every child.
* Collaborate effectively with teaching assistants and wider school staff to enhance learning outcomes.
* Foster positive relationships with parents and carers, providing regular updates on pupil progress.
About You
* Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and demonstrate a strong understanding of the EYFS framework.
* Possess recent and relevant experience teaching in a Reception class or similar early years setting.
* Exhibit a genuine passion for early childhood education and developing young minds.
* Demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills, building rapport with children, staff, and parents.
* Show a commitment to creating an inclusive and supportive learning environment for all pupils.
* Be proactive, adaptable, and able to work effectively as part of a dedicated team.
