About the Role
A flourishing school is seeking a dedicated EYFS Teaching Assistant to join their vibrant early years team. This pivotal role involves supporting children in their crucial first steps of learning, fostering a nurturing and stimulating environment where every child can thrive. You will play a key part in delivering engaging activities, assisting with daily routines, and ensuring a safe, positive start to each child's educational journey, contributing to their holistic development.

Key Responsibilities
• Provide tailored support to individual children and small groups within the Early Years Foundation Stage.
• Collaborate effectively with the class teacher to plan and deliver engaging learning activities.
• Foster a positive and inclusive classroom atmosphere, promoting good behaviour and engagement.
• Prepare and organise learning resources, ensuring the classroom remains stimulating and orderly.
• Assist with the observation and assessment of pupil progress, providing valuable feedback.
• Support children's personal care, emotional well-being, and safety throughout the school day.

About You
• Possess previous experience working with children in an Early Years Foundation Stage setting.
• Demonstrate a clear understanding of the EYFS curriculum and child development stages.
• Exhibit exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, building rapport with children and staff.
• Approach every child with patience, empathy, and a genuine nurturing demeanour.
• Thrive as a collaborative team member, supporting colleagues and contributing positively to the school community.
• Show initiative and enthusiasm for creating stimulating learning experiences, adapting to diverse needs.
