A forward-thinking school is seeking a dedicated individual to provide essential SEN support within its specialist primary setting. This rewarding opportunity involves working closely with primary pupils who have complex learning needs, including Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), ADHD, and speech and language difficulties. You will be instrumental in supporting children with Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs) through both one-to-one interventions and small group activities, making a tangible difference to their educational journey. We offer flexible contract options, including long-term, short-term, daily supply, and permanent roles, with a competitive daily rate ranging from £90 to £115, available for an immediate start.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide tailored one-to-one support for primary pupils with diverse complex learning needs.
* Facilitate engaging small group sessions designed to enhance pupil understanding and skill development.
* Assist in the implementation of personalised learning plans and Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs).
* Foster a supportive and inclusive learning environment where every child feels valued.
* Encourage pupils' independence and social development throughout their school day.
* Collaborate effectively with class teachers and other professionals to ensure holistic pupil progress.

* You possess a genuine passion for supporting primary-aged children with special educational needs.
* Demonstrable experience of working with pupils who have complex learning difficulties, such as ASD, ADHD, or speech and language challenges, is essential.
