A flourishing school is actively seeking an enthusiastic EYFS Teaching Assistant to enrich its dedicated early years team. This pivotal role involves supporting children aged 3-5 during their foundational learning journey, fostering a stimulating and inclusive environment. You will be instrumental in delivering engaging activities and providing essential one-to-one or small group support, contributing significantly to a vibrant and nurturing school community. The position offers a competitive daily rate of £95 - £110 and an immediate start, inviting passionate individuals to make a tangible difference in young lives.
Key Responsibilities
* Assist the class teacher in planning and delivering engaging EYFS learning activities and experiences.
* Provide tailored support to individual children or small groups, including those with special educational needs.
* Help create and maintain a safe, stimulating, and inclusive learning environment for all pupils.
* Observe and report on children's progress and development, contributing to accurate assessments.
* Promote positive behaviour, social skills, and independence among young learners.
* Prepare learning resources and help organise the classroom for daily activities and play.
About You
* Possess relevant experience working with early years children (ages 3-5) within a school setting.
* Demonstrate a genuine passion for supporting young children's development and well-being.
* Exhibit excellent communication and interpersonal skills, able to engage effectively with children, staff, and parents.
* Be proactive, organised, and adaptable to the dynamic needs of an EYFS classroom.
* Hold a relevant Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant qualification, or equivalent practical experience.
* Show a strong commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of all pupils.
