Key Responsibilities
* Plan and deliver engaging Physics lessons to secondary pupils, ensuring a stimulating learning experience.
* Contribute effectively to the development and delivery of the wider Science curriculum.
* Assess, monitor, and report on pupil progress, providing timely and helpful feedback.
* Create and maintain a positive, safe, and challenging classroom environment.
* Encourage pupils to develop a deep understanding and passion for scientific concepts.
* Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to extracurricular activities where appropriate.
About You
* You possess Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and hold a relevant degree in Physics or a related scientific discipline.
* You demonstrate a proven ability to teach Physics effectively to secondary pupils across various abilities.
* Experience in teaching general Science at Key Stage 3 and 4 is highly desirable.
* You are passionate about your subject and dedicated to inspiring young minds.
* You possess excellent classroom management skills and a commitment to pupil welfare.
