Key Responsibilities
* Plan and deliver highly differentiated lessons tailored to individual learning plans.
* Provide comprehensive support to secondary-aged pupils with a range of complex special educational needs.
* Create a positive, nurturing, and stimulating classroom atmosphere conducive to learning.
* Effectively assess pupil progress and contribute to the development of personalised learning strategies.
* Collaborate closely with teaching assistants and other professionals to ensure integrated pupil support.
* Manage classroom behaviour positively, promoting self-regulation and respectful interactions.
About You
* Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
* Possess demonstrated experience working effectively with secondary-aged pupils with special educational needs.
* Exhibit the ability to design and implement highly adapted and accessible learning experiences.
* Display excellent communication, interpersonal, and teamwork skills for collaborative practice.
* Demonstrate a genuine passion for supporting pupils' holistic development and academic achievements.
* Maintain a resilient, empathetic, and adaptable approach to teaching and learning challenges.
