Key Responsibilities
• Deliver high-quality, engaging Science lessons across the secondary curriculum.
• Plan and prepare innovative teaching materials that meet the needs of all learners.
• Assess student progress accurately and provide constructive feedback to support their development.
• Contribute to the development and implementation of the Science department’s curriculum.
• Promote a positive and inclusive learning environment where all students feel valued.
• Participate in extracurricular activities and school events to enrich the student experience.
About You
• Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK, suitable for teaching Science at secondary level.
• Possess a strong passion for Science and the ability to convey this enthusiasm to students.
• Demonstrate excellent classroom management skills and a commitment to student welfare.
• Be adept at differentiating lessons to cater for diverse learning styles and abilities.
• Show a proactive and collaborative approach to working within a dedicated team.
• Be committed to continuous professional development and contributing positively to school life.
