Key Responsibilities
• Design and deliver captivating Physics lessons that challenge and inspire secondary school students.
• Cultivate a stimulating classroom atmosphere where scientific curiosity and critical thinking flourish.
• Assess student progress accurately and provide constructive feedback to support their academic growth.
• Contribute to the development and enhancement of the Physics and wider Science curriculum.
• Engage proactively in departmental meetings and collaborative planning sessions.
• Support the academic and personal development of all students, promoting high expectations.
About You
• Possess Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a relevant degree in Physics or a related scientific field.
• Demonstrate a genuine passion for Physics and the ability to convey complex concepts clearly.
• Exhibit strong classroom management skills and a commitment to inclusive teaching practices.
• Be an Early Career Teacher (ECT), experienced Main Pay Scale (MPS), or Upper Pay Scale (UPS) teacher.
• Hold a specialism in Chemistry, capable of teaching across both subjects effectively.
• Show a proactive approach to your own professional learning and development.
