About the Role
A highly regarded school in the West Midlands is seeking an exceptional Chemistry Teacher to join its thriving science department on a permanent, long-term contract starting in September 2026. This challenging and rewarding position involves delivering engaging and rigorous Chemistry lessons across the secondary phase, inspiring pupils to develop a deep understanding and passion for scientific inquiry. You will contribute to an academic environment focused on progress and achievement, fostering a love for discovery within a mainstream setting.

Key Responsibilities
* Deliver dynamic and challenging Chemistry lessons to pupils across Key Stages, ensuring high levels of engagement.
* Develop and implement an innovative curriculum that stimulates intellectual curiosity and promotes scientific literacy.
* Assess pupil progress diligently, providing insightful feedback to support their learning journey.
* Contribute proactively to the collaborative development of the wider science faculty's educational vision.
* Cultivate a positive and inclusive classroom environment where every pupil feels empowered to achieve their full potential.
* Actively participate in departmental meetings, training sessions, and continuous professional development initiatives.

About You
* You possess Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK, demonstrating a commitment to educational excellence.
* You hold a strong academic background in Chemistry or a closely related scientific discipline.
* You are passionate about inspiring young people and igniting their interest in the wonders of science.
* You demonstrate excellent classroom management skills, ensuring a productive and respectful learning atmosphere.
* You are adept at differentiating instruction to meet the diverse needs and abilities of all pupils.
* Applications are welcomed from Early Career Teachers (ECTs) as well as experienced professionals (MPS/UPS).
