About the Role
A thriving secondary school is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Physics Teacher to join its vibrant Science department. This long-term, permanent position, commencing in September 2026, offers an exceptional opportunity to inspire students through engaging and effective teaching. You will be responsible for delivering high-quality Science lessons across key stages, with a particular specialism in Physics, fostering a deep understanding and passion for the subject. This role is paid to scale, reflecting the importance of attracting top talent to contribute to student success.

Key Responsibilities
* Plan and deliver engaging, challenging Physics lessons across the secondary curriculum.
* Assess, monitor, and report on student progress, providing timely and constructive feedback.
* Create and maintain a positive, stimulating, and safe learning environment for all pupils.
* Contribute to the ongoing development and review of the Science curriculum, particularly Physics.
* Actively participate in departmental meetings, training, and whole-school initiatives.
* Foster a culture of curiosity and scientific inquiry among students.

About You
* Possess Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a relevant degree in Physics or a related scientific field.
* Demonstrate strong subject knowledge in Physics and the ability to teach Science across secondary key stages.
* Be passionate about inspiring young minds and fostering a love for scientific discovery.
* Exhibit excellent classroom management skills and the ability to create an inclusive learning atmosphere.
* Have strong communication and interpersonal skills, fostering positive relationships with students, staff, and parents.
* Welcome applications from Early Career Teachers (ECTs), as well as experienced professionals at MPS or UPS levels.
