Key Responsibilities
* Design and deliver highly engaging, differentiated lessons tailored to primary pupils with SEMH needs.
* Implement effective behaviour management strategies that promote a calm and supportive classroom atmosphere.
* Build strong, therapeutic relationships with pupils, understanding their individual challenges and celebrating their successes.
* Assess pupil progress regularly, adapting teaching methods to ensure continuous learning and development.
* Collaborate closely with support staff, parents, and external agencies to provide holistic support for pupils.
* Contribute positively to the school's inclusive culture, championing the unique potential of every child.
About You
* Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and possess experience working with primary-aged pupils.
* Demonstrate a genuine passion for supporting children with SEMH needs in a specialist environment.
* Exhibit exceptional patience, empathy, and resilience when navigating complex emotional and behavioural challenges.
* Possess strong communication and interpersonal skills, fostering positive interactions with pupils, colleagues, and families.
* Are committed to continuous professional development and eager to learn new strategies for SEMH support.
