You will play a crucial role in nurturing an inclusive and supportive learning environment for young people with social, emotional, and mental health needs.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide tailored one-on-one and small group support to secondary pupils with SEMH needs.
* Implement effective behaviour management strategies to foster a calm and productive atmosphere.
* Support pupils in developing essential emotional regulation and social skills.
* Facilitate the successful reintegration of pupils into the broader learning environment.
* Collaborate closely with teaching staff to deliver a holistic educational experience.
* Champion a positive and inclusive learning culture for all students, promoting their progress and well-being.
About You
* Possess proven experience supporting secondary-aged pupils with social, emotional, and mental health needs.
* Demonstrate exceptional patience, empathy, and resilience in challenging situations.
* Exhibit strong communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with pupils and colleagues.
* Proactively identify and address pupil needs, adapting support as necessary.
