A thriving school in West London is seeking a dedicated and compassionate SEMH Teaching Assistant to join their specialist provision, working with secondary pupils requiring Social, Emotional, and Mental Health support. This vital role focuses on providing robust behaviour support, fostering emotional regulation, and facilitating pupils' successful reintegration into learning environments. We are open to various contract types, including long-term, daily supply, short-term, and permanent positions, with a competitive daily rate of £95 - £120, and are looking for someone to start as soon as possible.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide tailored behaviour management strategies to support pupils' learning journeys.
* Assist in developing and implementing individualised support plans for secondary-aged pupils.
* Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment, promoting emotional wellbeing.
* Collaborate closely with teaching staff to facilitate effective classroom integration.
* Support pupils in developing coping mechanisms and self-regulation skills.
* Monitor and report on pupil progress, contributing to ongoing assessments.

* You possess demonstrable experience working with secondary-aged pupils with SEMH needs.
