Key Responsibilities
• Design and deliver engaging French and Spanish lessons across the secondary curriculum.
• Assess pupil progress regularly, providing constructive feedback to support their learning journey.
• Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages linguistic exploration and confidence.
• Contribute actively to the development and implementation of the MFL department's schemes of work.
• Participate in wider school life, including extracurricular activities and pastoral duties.
• Collaborate effectively with colleagues to share best practice and enhance teaching strategies.
About You
• Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK, suitable for ECTs, MPS, or UPS level candidates.
• Possess a genuine passion for French and Spanish languages and cultures.
• Demonstrate the ability to inspire and motivate secondary-aged pupils of all abilities.
• Exhibit strong classroom management skills and a commitment to maintaining high standards of behaviour.
• Committed to continuous professional development and contributing positively to a team.
