This vital role involves providing tailored support to a pupil with complex needs, working closely to implement Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP) targets. Key Responsibilities
* Provide consistent, dedicated 1:1 support to a secondary pupil with complex special educational needs.
* Successfully implement and monitor personalised learning objectives outlined in the EHCP.
* Assist the pupil in accessing the curriculum across various subjects and activities.
* Promote and encourage the development of independence and self-help skills daily.
* Support the pupil's social and emotional development within the school environment.
* Collaborate effectively with teaching staff, parents, and external professionals.
